1. Bring 2 cups water to a boil. Add salt and olive oil (optional). 2. Add 1 cup Blue Ribbon Extra Long Grain rice and return to boil. 3. Cover. Reduce heat and simmer for for 15 minutes or until all water is absorbed. Let stand for 5 minutes. Fluff with fork and serve. *For a firmer rice, use less water and simmer for a shorter time.
Cooking directions - in the Microwave:
1. Combine all ingredients into a microwave-safe dish. 2. Cover and microwave on high until mixture come to a boil, approx. 5 minutes. 3. Reduce power to medium (50%) for 15 minutes. Let stand for 5 minutes. Fluff with fork and serve.
